Chocolate Chip and Apricot Flapjacks

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp clear honey
  • 175g margarine
  • 100g muscovado sugar
  • 225g rolled oats
  • 75g dried ready-to-eat apricots, cut into small pieces
  • 75g plain chocolate chips
  • 225g plain chocolate
  • 50g walnuts, chopped and toasted
  • 50g flaked almonds, toasted

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180C/350F/Gas 4. Grease and line a 28cm/11in x 18cm/7in baking tin. Place honey, margarine and sugar in a pan and melt over low heat. Stir in the oats, apricots and chocolate chips.
