Lemonade

Ingredients

  • 3 lemons
  • 3 to 4 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 pints boiling water

Method

  1. Wash the lemons, peel the rind off one as thinly as possible, then squeeze juice out of all of them.
  2. Put the juice and rind into a jug, add the sugar, pour over the boiling water, and cover.
  3. Leave in the refrigerator overnight, then strain into a jug containing ice cubes.
