Ingredients
- 200g (7oz) green beans
- 1tsp olive oil
- 25g (1oz) flaked almonds
- a little lemon juice
- salt and pepper
Method
- Bring a large pan of water to the boil. Add the green beans and cook for 4-5 minutes. Drain well.
- Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a large frying pan, add the flaked almonds and cook for 1-2 minutes until golden.
- Turn off the heat, add the drained beans to the frying pan, toss in the oil and almonds and season well to taste.
- Squeeze over a little lemon juice just before serving.
