Ingredients
- penne pasta
- potato, sliced
- runner beans, whole
- onion, finely chopped
- walnuts, chopped
- tarragon or parsley
- cheese, grated
- salt and pepper
Method
- Cook penne in a large pan of rolling boiling salted water.
- Add the sliced potato, whole runner beans, finely chopped onion, chopped walnuts, and tarragon or parsley to the boiling water with the pasta.
- Cook for 15–20 minutes, then drain.
- Cover with grated cheese and place under a hot grill to brown for approximately 10 minutes.
Notes
Cook penne in rolling boiling salted water with the vegetables. Finish under a hot grill to brown the cheese topping.
