Ingredients
- onions, chopped
- oil
- 1 tin tomatoes
- mince
- hard boiled eggs, chopped
- pinch salt
- pepper
- pastry, rolled into two rectangles
- egg or milk, for glazing
Method
- Fry chopped onions in oil.
- Add tin of tomatoes and mince. Stir and fry until meat is brown.
- Add chopped hard boiled eggs, a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook for a further 20 mins.
- Then cool slightly and spread over a rectangle of pastry. Place a second rectangle over the top and turn edges in to crimp.
- Fork holes in the top and brush with egg or milk.
- Bake in a moderate oven for 20-25 mins.
Notes
Cook time includes approximately 20 mins for filling and 20-25 mins in oven.
