Ingredients
- onions
- mushrooms, sliced
- 1 teasp dried mustard
- 1 teasp tomato ketchup
- ½ cup port
- pork or lamb, cut into strips, seasoned
- 2 cups stock
- a little cream
Method
- Fry onions lightly, add mixed sliced mushrooms.
- Stir in 1 teasp dried mustard with 1 teasp tomato ketchup and ½ cup of port.
- Fry strips of meat (seasoned), then add to mushrooms.
- Add 2 cups of stock and simmer for 15–20 minutes.
- Stir in a little cream and serve with triangles of toast.

Serve with triangles of toast.
