Ingredients
- 4 oz (100g) Golden Syrup
- 4 oz (100g) soft brown sugar
- 1 oz (25g) butter
- 2 tbs boiling water
- 4 tbs evaporated milk
- 6 drops vanilla essence
Method
- Put syrup, sugar and butter in heavy pan. Stir gently with wooden spoon until sugar has dissolved.
- Boil steadily for 3 mins.
- Remove from heat and add boiling water carefully.
- Cool slightly and add milk and essence.
- Serve hot or cold.
