Ingredients
- 1 (2ft long) French loaf
- 3 slices processed cheese
- lettuce, washed and trimmed
- 2 tomatoes, sliced
- 4 eggs, hard-boiled
- 1 level tablespoon mayonnaise
Method
- Cut loaf in half lengthwise, then across into 6in lengths.
- Cut each slice of cheese in 4 triangles; wash and trim lettuce. Slice tomatoes.
- Roughly chop eggs and mix with mayonnaise.
- Arrange lettuce on base of each piece of French loaf and cover with a layer of egg mayonnaise. Cover with alternate slices of tomato and triangles of cheese. Cover with remaining pieces of bread. Spear with a cocktail stick.
