Cottage Cheese Party Dips

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. carton Eden Vale cottage cheese
  • 5 oz. carton Eden Vale fresh soured cream
  •   flavourings of choice (sweetcorn, peppers, ham, chutney, pineapple, horseradish, mustard, garlic, onion, chicken, turkey, prawns, crystallised ginger)

Method

  1. Combine the Eden Vale cottage cheese and Eden Vale fresh soured cream to make the basic dip.
  2. Add one (or a suitable combination) of your favourite flavours — sweetcorn, peppers, ham, chutney, pineapple, horseradish, mustard, garlic, onion, chicken, turkey, prawns, or crystallised ginger.
  3. Season to taste and serve with crisps, carrot sticks or savoury biscuits.

LITTLE EATS WITH COTTAGE CHEESE: Stuffed Prunes: Big, soft prunes filled with Eden Vale cottage cheese and decorated with blanched and salted almonds. Celery: Celery stalks filled with cottage cheese seasoned with onion salt. Ham Rolls: Thin slices of good ham cut in strips about 1½–2 inches wide (or thin slices of ham sausage) spread with Eden Vale cottage cheese, seasoned with mustard and a dash of tomato ketchup. Roll up and serve on cocktail sticks.
