Vegetable Soup

Ingredients

  •   onion, chopped
  •   oregano
  •   paprika
  •   bay leaf
  • to cover water (or stock cube flavour)
  •   potato, chopped
  •   sweet corn (or rice)
  •   runner beans, chopped
  •   butter beans, from tin

Method

  1. Fry chopped onion with oregano and paprika.
  2. Add bay leaf and water to cover (or stock cube flavour), then chopped potato, sweet corn (or rice) and chopped runner beans.
  3. Cook for 10 mins, then add butter beans (from tin).
  4. Warm through and serve.

Notes

Sweet corn or rice can be used instead of sweetcorn. Stock cube flavour can be used instead of plain water.
