Ingredients
- 4 apples, chopped
- 2 tablesp raisins, marinated in juice 1 hour or overnight
- 3-4 ozs soft brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 6 ozs flour
- 6 ozs ground almonds
- 3 ozs butter
- 3 ozs sugar
- mascarpone, mixed with a little honey, to serve
Method
- Marinade raisins in juice for 1 hour or overnight.
- Chop apples and mix with raisins, a teaspoon of honey, mascarpone and sugar. Put in base of dish.
- Mix flour, ground almonds, butter and sugar together to make the crumble topping. Cover the apple mixture with the topping.
- Bake for 35–40 mins in an average oven.
- Serve with mascarpone mixed with a little honey.
