Sugar Syrup for Fruit

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp golden syrup
  • 1 oz sugar
  •   cinnamon, shake of
  • 2 oz butter
  • 1 small tub mascarpone
  •   fruit, chopped

Method

  1. Put golden syrup (2 tbsp), 1 oz sugar, shake of cinnamon, 2 oz butter, and 1 small tub mascarpone into a frying pan.
  2. Add chopped fruit then heat slowly until starting to caramelise.
  3. Put on plate to serve.
