Ingredients
- 12 ozs plain chocolate, chopped
- 2 ozs butter
- 1 tablsp double cream
- 2 tablsp rum
- 3 eggs, beaten until very creamy
- 4 ozs caster sugar
- flan pastry case, ready cooked
Method
- Melt the chocolate, butter, double cream and rum over hot water. Stir occasionally while melting.
- Beat 3 eggs until very creamy with 4 ozs caster sugar (in machine).
- When the chocolate is all melted and smooth, add the egg mixture a little at a time until all mixed in.
- Place in a ready cooked flan pastry case and bake in a moderate oven for 15–20 minutes.
- Serve with clotted cream.
