Smooth Chicken Liver Pâté

Ingredients

  •   chicken livers, chopped
  •   butter
  •   onions, chopped
  •   salt and pepper
  •   brandy
  • a little butter, extra, for topping

Method

  1. Fry chopped livers lightly in butter. Place in food processor when lightly browned.
  2. Fry chopped onions in butter. Add to livers and blend until smooth, after adding salt and pepper and brandy and a little bit of butter.
  3. Put into a dish to set in the fridge with butter on top. Serve with a scoop with toast.
