Grilled Honey Peaches

Ingredients

  • 400g/14oz canned peaches in natural juice
  • 1 tbsp clear honey
  •   lemon juice, juice of 1 lemon
  • 25g/1oz butter
  •   thick Greek yogurt
  •   cocoa powder, to decorate
  •   chocolate shavings, to decorate

Method

  1. Drain off the juices from the peaches; put one tablespoon in a bowl. (Top up the rest with soda water for a refreshing drink.) Add the honey and lemon juice to the bowl and mix well.
  2. Arrange the peaches flat side up in a shallow baking dish. Dot a little of the butter in the hollow of each peach, then spoon over the honey mixture.
  3. Grill for about 5 minutes until bubbling and golden brown. Serve with thick Greek yogurt and decorate with cocoa powder and chocolate shavings.

Notes

Top up the drained peach juice with soda water for a refreshing drink. Decorate with cocoa powder and chocolate shavings.
