Ingredients
- kohl rabi, whole, unpeeled
- butter or margarine, melted
Method
- Cut off the leafy top of the kohl rabi.
- Steam or boil the whole unpeeled root until tender, about 30 minutes.
- Drain, then peel the root and cut into fairly thick slices.
- Toss in melted butter or margarine and serve hot.
Notes
Can be cooked like turnip. It's about the size of a turnip, but green or purple in colour.
