Ingredients

  •   bread slices, crusts removed, rolled out firmly
  •   mushrooms, sliced
  •   salt and pepper
  • 1 egg yolk
  •   mascarpone cheese

Method

  1. Cut crusts off bread slices. Roll slices out firmly (pasta roller very good).
  2. Make tartlet cases with bread in greased individual tins. Bake in moderate oven for 5 minutes.
  3. Fry sliced mushrooms with salt and pepper for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Assemble tart: mix 1 egg yolk with mascarpone cheese. Line bread cases with the mix. Add mushrooms into tart. Cover with mix. Cook in oven for 5 minutes.

Notes

Pasta roller is very good for rolling out the bread slices firmly.
