Ingredients
- bought ginger cake, pulsed in food processor
- cream
- mixed spice
- soft brown sugar
- orange slices (tinned mandarin)
- melted chocolate
- 1 oz butter
- 2 ozs soft brown sugar
- orange juice
- 2 ozs double cream, unwhipped
Method
- Pulse bought ginger cake in a food processor.
- Add cream and mixed spice to the processed ginger cake.
- Put a layer of soft brown sugar in a dish and cover with the cake mix.
- Add a layer of orange slices (tinned mandarin).
- Cover with melted chocolate and cream.
- Melt 1 oz butter in a pan, add 2 ozs soft brown sugar. Heat for 2-3 minutes until sugar is dissolved.
- Add orange juice and heat for 1-2 minutes.
- Add 2 ozs double cream (unwhipped) and stir until thickened. Pour over pudding.
