Ingredients
- 6 small leeks
- 25g/1oz butter
- 6 fresh thyme, tied together
Method
- Cut the leeks into 7.5-10cm/3-4in lengths, then slice in half lengthways and wash thoroughly under cold running water. Pat dry with kitchen paper.
- Melt the butter in a pan, then add the leeks and thyme. Cover and cook gently for about 10 minutes until tender. Remove the thyme before serving.
