Ingredients
- pork loin steaks
- oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- a few wedges apple, cored, cut into wedges
- a handful button mushrooms, wiped
- a splash Calvados
- double cream
- rice
Method
- In a heavy-based pan, fry the steaks in oil on both sides to brown, then remove.
- Fry the finely chopped onion, apple wedges and wiped button mushrooms until golden.
- Return the steaks to the pan, add a splash of Calvados and double cream. Bring just to the boil, then serve with rice.
