Chicken Drumsticks

Ingredients

  •   boiling water
  •   bay leaves
  •   black pepper
  •   thyme
  • tablespoon olive oil
  •   chicken drumsticks
  •   marmalade
  •   paprika

Method

  1. Mix boiling water with bay leaves, black pepper, thyme, a tablespoon of olive oil, and a little soy sauce. Bring back to the boil.
  2. Drop drumsticks in and cook (simmer) for 10 minutes.
  3. Leave to cool in the water, then drain.
  4. Sprinkle lightly with marmalade and paprika and cook in the oven for a further 10–15 minutes.

Notes

Leave to cool in the water before draining.
