Ingredients
- leek, finely chopped
- onion, finely chopped
- baked beans
- 1½ oz butter
- stock
- lamb steak or rump
Method
- Finely chop leek and onion and fry until soft (about 6 mins).
- Add baked beans and 1½ oz butter, and stock. Lower heat.
- Seal lamb (steak or rump) on all sides in a frying pan.
- Place on a hot dish in oven (Gas 7 / high heat) for 25–30 mins.
- Serve with mash and the cassoulet.
