Notes

Three variations on microwaved potato wedges. Always cut the potato longways: first in half, then into quarters, then into eighths. Pizza: cover wedges with film and microwave 6 mins, pour on a can of chopped tomatoes, add peppers, onion and mozzarella, microwave 2 more mins. Bean Feast: cover wedges and microwave 6 mins, pour on a small can of baked beans and sausages, reheat 2 mins. Ploughman's: add chopped bacon to raw wedges, cover and microwave 6 mins, then add cheese and reheat until it melts, garnish with pickle.
