Baked Mushrooms with Brandy and Cream

Serves 8-12 Prep 5 min Cook 20 min

Ingredients

  • 8-12 medium flat mushrooms, wiped
  • 50g butter, melted
  •   brandy
  •   cream
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  •   seasoning

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 190C/375F/Gas 5.
  2. Arrange the mushrooms in a greased baking dish and season well.
  3. Mix together the butter, brandy and cream and pour over the mushrooms.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes, basting occasionally.
  5. Scatter the parsley over the mushrooms and serve hot.

Notes

If you run out of room in the oven, fry the mushrooms in the butter for about 5 minutes, then add the other ingredients. Brandy and cream quantities were not visible in the original recipe card.
