Ingredients
- streaky bacon
- butter
- potatoes, thinly sliced, uncooked
- onion, finely sliced
- chicken stock
- cheese, grated
Method
- Fry streaky bacon in butter, then remove from pan.
- Put a layer of thin sliced uncooked potatoes in the frying pan fat, then a layer of finely sliced onion.
- Cover with the cooked bacon and a last layer of thin sliced potato.
- Pour chicken stock over to moisten well. Simmer for 15 minutes.
- Add grated cheese to cover and cook 10 minutes more.
