Almond Paste

Ingredients

  • ½lb ground almonds
  • ¼lb icing sugar
  • ¼lb caster sugar
  • a few drops vanilla and almond essence
  • 3 teasp. orange flower water
  • 1 egg

Method

  1. Place all the ingredients in the mixer bowl and, using the beaters, blend all together until smooth.

Notes

Use to decorate Christmas, Birthday or Simnel cakes.
