Bhajis - Onion

Ingredients

  •   mint, chopped
  •   chives, chopped
  •   spring onions, chopped
  • small amount onion, finely chopped
  •   lettuce, shredded
  •   flour, to bind
  •   cumin
  •   fat, for frying

Method

  1. Mix together the chopped mint, chopped chives, chopped spring onions, a small amount of finely chopped onion, shredded lettuce, flour to bind, and cumin.
  2. Press the mixture into balls.
  3. Fry in hot fat for 5–6 minutes until light brown.
  4. Drain and serve.
