Ingredients
- 900g (2lb) Brussels sprouts, peeled, cross cut in stalk
- butter or margarine
- 2 spring onions, chopped
- 50g (2oz) flaked almonds
Method
- Peel the sprouts and cut a cross in the stalk. This helps for even cooking but is not essential. Sprouts can be prepared the night before.
- Brown the almonds under the grill. Watch them like a hawk, they burn easily. Remove.
