Meat Roast

Ingredients

  • 2lb meat roast
  •   salt and pepper
  •   carrots, chopped
  •   leeks, chopped
  •   celery, chopped
  •   rosemary
  •   thyme
  • 1 pint stock

Method

  1. Heat the pan. Season meat with salt and pepper, seal and fry in hot pan.
  2. Pour in 1 pint stock and add herbs and vegetables. Bring to boil and simmer for 20 mins.
  3. Put lid on while boiling, and place in grey plastic cover. Prepare for 1½ hours in pot.
