Ingredients
- 2lb meat roast
- salt and pepper
- carrots, chopped
- leeks, chopped
- celery, chopped
- rosemary
- thyme
- 1 pint stock
Method
- Heat the pan. Season meat with salt and pepper, seal and fry in hot pan.
- Pour in 1 pint stock and add herbs and vegetables. Bring to boil and simmer for 20 mins.
- Put lid on while boiling, and place in grey plastic cover. Prepare for 1½ hours in pot.
