Ingredients
- 450g/1lb minced turkey
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 50g/2oz fresh wholemeal breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 egg, beaten
- ground black pepper
- 4 large wholemeal rolls
- shredded lettuce
- tomatoes, sliced
Method
- Mix together the minced turkey, onion, breadcrumbs, parsley and egg. Season well with black pepper.
- Divide the mixture into four, roll each piece into a ball and flatten to make burgers. Chill for 20 minutes.
- Grill the burgers for about 12-15 minutes, turning once, until cooked through.
- Split the rolls in half and toast lightly. Fill each one with shredded lettuce, slices of tomato and a cooked burger. Serve with salad.
