Ingredients
- lamb leg
- rosemary, inserted in cuts
- small amount onion, sliced
- carrot, cut into strips
Method
- Insert rosemary into cuts in the lamb leg.
- Place lamb over carrot strips in a roasting dish with a small amount of sliced onion.
- Cook in oven at gas mark 5 for 20–30 minutes, then reduce to oven gas mark 4 for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Notes
Served with cauliflower cheese, mash, and Yorkshire puddings sprinkled with chopped rosemary before heating.
