Ingredients
- 175g/6oz streaky bacon, chopped
- 2 eggs, hard-boiled and chopped
- 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 225g/8oz potatoes, boiled and mashed
- 1 egg, beaten
- 75g/3oz cornflakes, crushed
- oil, for frying
Method
- Grill the bacon and allow to cool. Mix with the eggs, tomato ketchup and potato. Divide the mixture into four round patties. Dip in beaten egg and then coat in cornflakes.
- Heat the oil in a pan and fry the burgers for 3-4 minutes on each side until crisp and golden.
