Ingredients
- 600ml / 1 pint basic white sauce
- 175g / 6oz English Cheddar cheese, grated
- 3 tablsp. tomato ketchup
- 225g / 8oz pasta shells, cooked
- 25g / 1oz butter
- 100g / 4oz streaky bacon, chopped
- one small onion, chopped
Method
- Add 150g/5oz grated cheese, tomato ketchup and seasoning to sauce. Stir until cheese has melted.
- Add cooked pasta and also lightly fried bacon and onion. Turn into an ovenproof dish and sprinkle with remaining 25g/1oz cheese.
- Bake at gas mark 4, 180°C (350°F) for 20 mins.
