Pasta Bake

Serves 4 Cook 20 min

Ingredients

  • 600ml / 1 pint basic white sauce
  • 175g / 6oz English Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 3 tablsp. tomato ketchup
  • 225g / 8oz pasta shells, cooked
  • 25g / 1oz butter
  • 100g / 4oz streaky bacon, chopped
  • one small onion, chopped

Method

  1. Add 150g/5oz grated cheese, tomato ketchup and seasoning to sauce. Stir until cheese has melted.
  2. Add cooked pasta and also lightly fried bacon and onion. Turn into an ovenproof dish and sprinkle with remaining 25g/1oz cheese.
  3. Bake at gas mark 4, 180°C (350°F) for 20 mins.
