Ingredients
- 450ml / ¾ pint water
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 10 cloves
- 100g / 4oz light muscovado sugar
- 4 tablespoons clear honey
- 1.75 litres / 3 pints fresh orange juice
- 1.75 litres / 3 pints apple juice
- orange, sliced
- lemon, sliced
- apple, sliced
Method
- Place the water, cinnamon sticks, cloves and light muscovado sugar in a pan and bring to the boil.
- Simmer for about 5 minutes until all the sugar has dissolved, then stir in the clear honey.
- Add the fresh orange juice and apple juice and heat through gently.
- Strain the liquid, then add orange, lemon and apple slices. Serve hot.
