Ingredients
- 1 lb potatoes, peeled and sliced
- ½ lb onions, sliced
- ½ lb apples, sliced
- 8 oz cooked Danish bacon, cut into small pieces
- ¾ pint stock, seasoned

Method
- Peel and slice the potatoes, onions and apples.
- Cut the cooked Danish bacon into small pieces.
- Arrange in a pie dish in the order of potato, bacon, apple and onion.
- Pour in ¾ pint of seasoned stock.
- Cover with pastry and bake in a moderate oven for 1 to 1½ hours.

A traditional Shropshire dish. Cook time is 1 to 1½ hours in a moderate oven.
