Leeks Wrapped in Parma Ham

Ingredients

  • 700g leeks, trimmed weight, cut in half
  • 2 packs Parma ham
  • 100g Dolcelatte
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C/400°F/Gas 6.
  2. Cut 700g leeks (trimmed weight) in half and place them in a deep frying pan filled with water. Simmer for 5 mins and drain. Leave to cool.
  3. Wrap each leek in a slice of Parma ham (you'll need 2 packs) and place on a baking tray.
  4. Sprinkle over 100g Dolcelatte and 1 tbsp olive oil.
  5. Bake for 10 mins until the cheese melts and the ham is crisp.
