Savory Yorkshire Pudding

Serves 6-8 Cook 30 min

Ingredients

  • 3 ozs flour
  • 3-4 ozs sage, chopped
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/4 lb white breadcrumbs
  •   salt and pepper
  • 3/4 lb onions, boiled and finely chopped
  • 1/2 pt milk

Method

  1. Preheat oven to Gas Mark 6.
  2. Mix onions, milk and lightly beaten egg. Mixture fairly stiff.
  3. Spoon into greased pudding basins. Cover with greaseproof paper.
  4. Bake for 30 mins. Turn out and serve.
