Ingredients
- some leftover mashed potato
- a drop of milk
- a pinch of salt
- a bit of flour
- a bit of bacon fat
Method
- Mix together leftover mashed potato with a drop of milk and a pinch of salt.
- Add a bit of flour to bind it all together.
- Roll out on a floured board to about ¼-inch thick.
- Cut into triangles.
- Brown them up quickly on both sides in a bit of bacon fat in a hot cast-iron griddle or heavy frying pan.
Notes
You're supposed to use a hot cast-iron griddle for this, but a heavy frying pan works quite nicely too.
