Orange Glazed Gammon Steaks

Ingredients

  • 4 gammon steaks
  • 4 large oranges
  • 2 tsp arrowroot, blended with a little water

Method

  1. Snip the rind of the gammon steaks, and grill for approximately 5 minutes each side, until cooked.
  2. Meanwhile, pare and cut into thin strips the rind from one of the oranges, and divide the flesh into segments.
  3. Squeeze the juice from the remaining oranges, strain and thicken with the arrowroot.
  4. Glaze the cooked steaks with the sauce, garnish with the orange strips and segments and serve immediately.
