Notes
Breakfast: Serve bagels warm with butter and marmalade, honey or jam. Or split and toast, smother with butter. Fill with scrambled eggs topped with bacon or smoked salmon. Try mushrooms with spicy sausage.
Lunch: Traditional filling is cream cheese and smoked salmon. Also try tuna and mayonnaise, smoked chicken and salad, tomato salsa on a bed of salad, cheese and onion, Welsh rarebit, cheese and pickles.
Teas & Snacks: Toasted with butter and jam. With fresh fruit: cheese and pineapple, banana and honey, apple and Cheddar, pear and stilton. For a quick snack: pastrami and mustard, crispy bacon.
