Ingredients
- 2 med. onions, sliced
- butter
- 1 tin tomatoes
- some or ½ tsp dried basil, fresh leaves or dried
Method
- Sweat 2 medium sliced onions in butter.
- Add 1 tin of tomatoes and some basil leaves (or dried basil, ½ tsp).
- Simmer gently for 20 minutes.
- Serve while hot.
Notes
Good with pasta, or mince.
