Chicken Soup Stew

Ingredients

  •   butter
  •   onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, diced
  •   salt and pepper
  • 6oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tbsp sherry
  •   dried thyme
  • 10oz condensed chicken soup
  • ½ pt stock or water

Method

  1. Melt butter in a large saucepan, fry onion and pepper until softened.
  2. Add all the other ingredients and bring to the boil. Simmer for 10 minutes to heat through.

Notes

Serve with potatoes or rice. Some ingredients partially obscured in original.
