Potato Cake

Ingredients

  •   potatoes, sliced thinly into rounds
  •   butter, melted

Method

  1. Potatoes sliced thinly into rounds and pressed well down in a well greased cake tin.
  2. Brush each layer with melted butter. Fold last outer layer in.
  3. Cover top layer with foil. Put in 7 oven 1hr 20 mins – 1hr 30 mins.
  4. Take foil off top and cook in oven 50 mins to 1 hr further.
  5. Leave to relax in tin for 10 mins. Turn out and grill pale base a few mins.

Notes

Serve with lamb.
